I started reading Philip K. Dicks The man in the High Castle this is an interesting counter factual history book on if Germany and Japan won World War 2. This story follows Frank Frink, an American who was sent to San Francisco after Japan took over Hawaii and has been there for the last 15 years. Frank is distasteful towards the Japanese but was never violent toward them when growing up, he had vowed revenge and buried his service weapons underground. While the Japanese were claiming territory and burning the jungles in Brazil, Germany was making spectacular lunar progress. What I find believable thus far in the book is that Germany is said to be constructing robotic systems all across space. During the space race, Germany was able to construct rocket technology that was more advanced than the allies for awhile before funding for NASA was raised.
